Hotel Maison Moschino, inspired by dreams and fairy-tales
Maison Moschino is the splendid result of a design project supervised by Rossella Jardini in cooperation with Jo Ann Tan. By applying its fashion flair and design to the hotel industry, Moschino has created Maison Moschino, a stellar example of a new approach in hotel hospitality.
In 1840, a neoclassical railway station opened in central Milan. It operated the Milan-Monza route, the second-oldestt railway in Italy, and it was one of the city’s most beautiful buildings.
Today, the exterior façade of Viale Monte Grappa 12 is a reminder of the station’s original grandeur. But inside, where once handkerchiefs were waved at lovers disappearing in the distance, a new world has been brought to life.
True essence of the Moschino brand, they completely reinterpreted the building, adding 65 contemporary hotel rooms and junior suites inspired by a visionary and contemporary fairy tale theme. Spread out across four floors, the rooms, are sensuous visions of surreal diversity. Entering the Maison Moschino is like falling down the rabbit hole: after a while, you come to expect the unexpected.
Highly imaginative and eccentric, the spaces were created to inspire the mind while the body relaxes – because to sleep is perchance to dream.
